Huang Taizhan

It is a new line bred by using the offspring of Huang Huazhan and (Gumei No. 2/IR24) and using the systematic breeding method. A mid-season rice planting in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River has a full growth period of about 128 days, which is 10 days earlier than Fengliangyou No. 4 (CK), which is equivalent to the maturity period of Huang Huazhan. This strain has a moderate plant type, underfloor grass, slightly wider and taller leaves, good high yield and stable yield, medium tillers, medium and large ears, high seed setting rate, good late color fall, stress tolerance and lodging resistance. The average yield per mu is 590.8kg, slightly lower than Fengliangyou No. 4, which accounts for an increase of 8% more than Huanghua. Main agronomic performance: 200,000 effective ears per mu, plant height of 107cm, total number of grains per ear is about 182.2, seed setting rate is above 85.1%, 1000-grain weight is about 26.3 grams. Resistance: resistance to rice blast; moderate resistance to bacterial blight. The rice polishing rate is 61.2%, which is equivalent to that of Huang Huazhan.
