(Summary description)On October 11, 2017, Henan Dacheng Seed Co., Ltd. and Jiangsu Hongqi Seed Co., Ltd. signed a joint development agreement for the new wheat variety "Luomai 163" under the witness of Luohe Academy of Agricultural Sciences.

　　 "Luomai 163" is a new wheat variety bred by Luohe Academy of Agricultural Sciences, which has participated in the national test of the southern part of Huanghuai. The plant height of this variety is about 80cm, and it has the characteristics of early maturity and strong lodging resistance. Luomai 163 has good resistance to head blight and has been identified as moderately susceptible for many years. In the past years, the yield has ranked first; at the same time, the quality of this variety is very good, and many indicators have reached the standard of strong gluten wheat.

In order to speed up the popularization and application of Luomai 163, Henan Dacheng Seed Industry Co., Ltd. and Jiangsu Hongqi Seed Industry Co., Ltd. signed a joint development agreement for Luomai 163 in Taizhou, Jiangsu under the witness of the variety right unit—Luohe Academy of Agricultural Sciences. Seed Industry Co., Ltd. is responsible for the development of Jiangsu and Anhui provinces, and Henan Dacheng Seed Industry is responsible for the development of Hubei, Henan and other provinces.
