(Summary description)On the morning of July 16, representatives from the Provincial People's Congress of the Taizhou Group of the Suzhou Group of the Provincial Direct Group came to Jiangsu Hongqi Seed Co., Ltd. to conduct special investigations. Zhang Tong, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People’s Congress, chairman of the Provincial Women’s Federation, and convener of the Taizhou Group of the Provincial People’s Congress; Chen Zhanglong, member of the Finance and Economics Committee of the Provincial People’s Congress and former party secretary of Nanjing University of Finance and Economics; Shao Weiming, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Congress and director of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Congress, participated in the investigation. Shen Minggang, Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress, Chen Mingguan, Deputy Mayor, Li Weiguo, Secretary-General of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress, Zhang Chun, Chairman of the Agricultural Development Group, and Chen Jianhua, General Manager, accompanied the investigation. The representatives of the Provincial People's Congress inspected the Hongqi Seed Industry Storage and Transportation Processing Center and the Hongqi Seed Industry New Variety Demonstration Base. The company's deputy general manager Sun Jianrong introduced in detail the business development of Hongqi Seed Industry in recent years such as scientific research, production, sales and foreign trade exports. The deputies to the National People’s Congress fully affirmed the development and growth of Hongqi Seed Industry over the years, and hope that Hongqi Seed Industry will actively respond to the call of "fighting a turnaround in the seed industry" put forward by the Central Economic Conference, and give full play to scientific research innovation, variety selection and breeding, and production of improved seeds. Advantages in other aspects have promoted the rapid development of the seed industry in Jiangsu Province.
